I bought my first Cottonique products a few years back when suffering from a case of eczema, but I go back because of the quality.
They use no spandex, rubber, latex, bleach or polyester in any of their clothing. A testament to all this is that it is not only a soothing balm for our bodies but also for the earth! Unlike polyester (which is basically plastic) organic cotton is completely biodegradable, and will not overwhelm our landfill or pollute our oceans. It also does not produce the microplastics that contaminate our oceans, food supply and the very air we breathe.
They use only 100% Gott’s certified organic cotton fabric and cotton thread certified by Oeko-Tex, which according to their website saves approximately 11,647 cubic meters of water per ton when compared to conventional cotton. By avoiding synthetic pesticides and fertilizers approximately 2200 pounds of chemicals are saved.
Their garments are very well made, and even more amazingly—not expensive. Here are a few of their offerings; to see more check out their website, here.
